Centralizers and Accessories

CentraMax® Centralizers

CentraMax® is Antelope’s newest centralization solution, available in two configurations: Standard and Close Tolerance (CT). Made from a single piece of 4130, heat-treated steel, the CentraMax® sports a lower cost per unit than the alternatives and an unbeatable failure rate. All CentraMax® products are backed by our industry-leading, real-time customer support, combined with state-of-the-art placement, T&D and surge software, making them your best choice for dependable centralizer performance.

CentraMax® Centralizer Subs

Antelope’s CentraMax® Centralizer Subs are suited for use when annular clearance casing O.D. and restriction I.D. are sufficient. The installation of our sub bodies reduces the centralizer’s material stack, allowing the centralizer to safely and effectively pass through narrow I.D. restrictions. All of our CentraMax® Centralizer Subs are produced from a single piece of heat-treated steel, which minimizes potential weld and component failures, and provides optimum performance even with today’s complex wellbore configurations.

CentraMax® Standard

The CentraMax® Standard is a highly versatile centralizer, suited for standard, high angle, extended reach and horizontal wells. Our experienced engineers have calculated the perfect downhole program to maximize the stand-off capability of the CentraMax®, which provides low flow-area encroachment and ECD. The CentraMax® is installed directly onto the casing and helps you manage casing string changes and eliminates the need to manage and warehouse supplementary inventory.

CentraMax® CT

CentraMax® CT is Antelope's line of close tolerance, single piece centralizers for centralizing the liner in the wellbore. The CT line includes the RT1, PI1 and PT1 models that offer different bow geometries, allowing you to choose the design you need to reduce starting forces in any given well. Both variations are cold-formed and then heat-treated for ultimate durability, and easily installed on-site.

CentraMax® Quick-Lock Stop Collar

CentraMax® Quick-Lock Stop Collar

The Quick-Lock Stop Collar is utilized with the CentraMax® CT Centralizers. This quick and simple installable stop collar eliminates the need to ship casing to installation locations. The stop collar provides high holding forces (up to 150,000 lbs.). The Quick-Lock can be installed anywhere on the casing by sliding the stop device on to the casing with the centralizer and removing the shipping screws once the desired location of the stop is reached. Both Uni- and Bi-Directional designs available.

RT1 Small Product

CentraMax® RT1

The RT1 is a close tolerance centralizer that provides operators a technically superior alternative to in-line centralizer subs. It is pulled in both directions using either a WearSox® or MCC band inside the centralizer between end collars, leaving the RT1 free to rotate.

Proof/Points:

  • Extremely low friction and coefficient levels
  • Single piece of steel means no welds on bows for enhanced integrity

The unique design prevents the anchoring device from getting underneath in interface between the bows and the end collars, increasing safety and maximizing performance.

CentraMax® PI1

Used as an alternative to centralizer subs, the CentraMax® PI1 centralization design allows for both reciprocation and rotation type applications. It is always pushed when installed between two external Antelope anchoring devices -- either WearSox® thermal spray or MCC mechanically bonded stops.

Proof/Points:

  • Decreases starting and running forces
  • Superior mechanical integrity

This first of its kind product, provides flexibility of placement and ease of installation onto the pipe.

PT1 Small Product

CentraMax® PT1

Unique to the market, this centralizer option for ultra-close tolerance applications allows the centralizer to be pulled both in and out of the restriction with specially designed windows in the end collars.

Proof/Points:

  • Decreases RIH time
  • Multiple units per casing joint can be installed as needed

Anchored to the casing via one of Antelope’s unique proprietary technologies--either the WearSox® thermal spray metal or MCC mechanically bonded stops--the PT1 guarantees an excellent cement job.

CentraMax RT1 Rotating SUB Technology

CentraMax® RT1 Rotating SUB Technology

This close tolerance centralizer is pulled/reciprocated in both directions through the use of an internal machined integral sub body anchor, and allows the centralizer to rotate freely. The unique design prevents the machined sub body internal anchor from getting underneath the bows and the end collars, allowing the bows to fully compress, while adding safety and performance to the tool.

Proof/Points:

  • Installation reduces centralizer's material stack
  • Single peice of steel minimizes potential for weld component failures
Centralizer is always pulled when installed over the integral machined sub body anchor. For use when annular clearance casing O.D. and restriction I.D. are sufficient (approx. ½” minimum of radial annular clearance is required). Sub body installation reduces the centralizer’s material stack, which allows the centralizer to safely and effectively pass through narrow I.D. restrictions.

CentraMax® PI1 Push-In SUB Technology

This close tolerance centralizer option for ultra-close tolerance applications allows the centralizer to be pushed and reciprocated both in and out of the restriction with specially designed bows, and is able to rotate freely.

Proof/Points:

  • Lower material stack for safe, effective passage of narrow I.D. restrictions
  • Single piece of steel minimizes potential for weld component failure
Centralizer is always pushed when installed between two integral machined sub body anchors. For use when annular clearance casing O.D. and restriction I.D. are sufficient (approx. ¼” minimum of radial annular clearance is required).

CentraMax® PT1 Pull-Through SUB Technology

Unique to the market, this centralizer option for ultra-close tolerance applications allows the centralizer to be pulled/reciprocated both in and out of the restriction with specially designed “window” openings in the centralizer’s end collars, which are anchored with integral machined sub body anchors.

Proof/Points:

  • Lower material stack allows safe, effective passing through narrow I.D. restrictions
  • Optimum performance for the most challenging wellbore configurations
Centralizer is always pulled when “windowed” centralizer end collars are installed over integral machined sub body anchors. For use when annular clearance casing O.D. and restriction I.D. are sufficient (approx. ¼” minimum of radial annular clearance is required).
